1. Talks and Discussions with Visiting Experts
- Mindful Body movement based on Natya Shastra by Shivani Joshi
- Diet and Lifestyle recommendations by American Health Association by Dr. Atul Gupta, MD
- Eat, Chew, Live, Diabetes: The real cause and the right cure, Dr. John M. Pothullil
- Meeting with Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici
- Presentation by Ride Connections – supporting Mobility for Seniors
- Presentation on Social and Emotional work, by Manju and Aslam Jain of Creative Pause
- Management and care of Arthritis by Dr. Meenakshi Aggarwal, MD, FAAFP
2. Tasty and Healthy Snack Challenges: Many members participated much to the delight of samplers!
3. Book Discussions via zoom on: the following books:
- The final revival of Opal and Nev by Dawnie Walton.
- Where the forest meets the stars by Glendy Vanderah
- The Last Queen by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.
- The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma
- Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes
- Lonely World by Dr. Vivek Murthy, M.D.
4. Multi-generational Summer Picnics
- Orenco Woods National Park in July
- Cook Park in August
- Bus trip to the Silver falls in September
5. Weekend easy nature walks – weekly at one of many scenic nature reserves in our area.
6. Bingo games Mondays and Thursdays
7. Diwali Party was a huge success, thanks to the participation from both the young at heart and simply young members of our community
8. And for the very first time: Golmaal, a Play written, directed and acted exclusively by ASIO Seniors!

JOIN ASIO for a token annual membership of $50/pp. Spouses can sign up individually at $50/pp or as Primary and Secondary for total of $100/couple.
