Dear friends,
Welcome to our August newsletter! As summer reaches its peak, we have a lot of exciting news, updates, and events to share with you. Here’s a quick look at what’s covered in this issue:

Bus Trip to Seaside Beach:
Thank you to everyone who attended and the organizers to make sure that the trip was fun for all. Special thanks to Mr. Niranjan Bhatiaji for taking a lead in keeping track of all the attendees. There was singing, laughter yoga, good food, but most of all company of good friends. Here are some of the pictures of the event:
Multi-Generational Picnic at Cook Park:
Come one come all, please join us with family and friends to our last picnic of this summer. Following are the details:

WhenSaturday, August 10, 2024.
Time:9:00 - 10:00 AM(optional for anyone who would like to go for a walk with others)
10:00 - 2:00 PM Picnic
Where: Cook Park

Cost: Free for members (who have paid the annual dues of $30), and $5.00 for non-members, for children under 10 years are free.
ASIO will provide tea, fruit drinks, wheat upma, chole, naan and three types of salad. Bringing food item is optional, but if you would like to bring an item to share with others you may bring a rice item, snack, ice-cream or fruits. Please bring water for your family. As always, if you are not comfortable eating shared food you are welcome to bring food just for your family.
Please bring games that can be played in a group like frisbee, Badminton etc. Wear comfortable shoes, forecast is that it will be a hot day, dress for the weather and come prepared to have fun.

Time: 6:15 to 7:45 pm
Join our meetings to connect with friends and enjoy a variety of activities, including songs, jokes, Bingo games, and informative talks by experts.
Please note that on August 28th. meeting, Mr. Harbanslal and Mrs. Chitra Arora will be joining the meeting. Will have short regular activities followed by dinner (Dinner starts at 7 PM). There would be a cost of $5 per person for the dinner. If you would like to join, please inform Mr. Krishnamurthy no later than Aug. 20th.
