Dear friends,
As summer is in full swing, we have some exciting updates and events to share with you this month. Inside this issue you will find information about the following:

Preparing for End of Life : A Conversation with Evening Star End-of-Life Doula Services


Maryann Giunta and Deanna Hagy of Evening Star End-of-Life Doula Services, LLC gave a talk on local resources and education on lesser-known end of life options like home funerals, family directed death care, legacy work and vigil planning.

Multi-generation Picnic at Rood Bridge Park:
Our picnic at Rood Bridge Park was our most successful event yet, with a fantastic turnout. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the potluck meal-it was a hit! Everyone had a great time playing Antakshari, Topple and Bingo. Here are some of the pictures of the event:
Bus Trip to Seaside Beach:
ASIO is planning to have a fun-filled day trip by bus to Seaside Beach following are the details:
When: Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Pickup will be at 9:15 AM
Drop off at 6:30-7:00 PM
Where: Apna Chat Bhavan
Cost: $25.00 for members, and $30.00 for non-members, for children under 10 years at $10.00.
