Preparing for End of Life : A Conversation with Evening Star End-of-Life Doula Services

Maryann Giunta and Deanna Hagy of Evening Star End-of-Life Doula Services, LLC have been providing compassionate, non-medical support for individuals and families dealing with serious illness and end of life since 2018.

Our presentation will offer local resources and education on lesser known end of life options like home funerals, family directed death care, legacy work and vigil planning. We will cover the importance of end of life paperwork such as wills and advance directives, and provide a brief intro on the role of end of life doulas and what their support looks like for end of life planning.
